Alex Werth is a songwriter and producer from Essen (North Rhine-Westphalia) who specializes in modern pop, German pop, and entertainment formats.

He has worked with artists such as Florian Künstler, Josh., Das Lumpenpack, and Anna Leanne, and has written numerous songs for Jan Böhmermann, including “Menschen Leben Tanzen Welt,” “Allemagne Zero Points,” and “Ischgl-Fieber.” “Menschen Leben Tanzen Welt” was awarded the Grimme Prize as well as the Pop Culture Prize.

In addition to his work as a songwriter and producer, Alex served as musical co-director, arranger, and keyboardist for the Rundfunk Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld and has shared the stage with artists such as Lizzo, Rilès, and Herbert Grönemeyer. Even after his time in the band, he wrote arrangements for performances with Nina Chuba, Wolfgang Niedecken, Zoe Wees, and Provinz.

For many years, he also wrote and produced music together with Niko Faust under the name LUF (Ludwig & Faust).
