KARL

KARL from Vienna is a storyteller who moves between small bars, the stage, and his gut feeling. His songs blend Viennese wit, indie guitars, and the emotional world of
Austropop into a sound that’s honest, raw, and relatable. He tells of long nights, fleeting encounters, hangover blues, and moments of happiness—of the little stories that life writes and that bring people together.

The 26-year-old, with Austrian-Mozambican roots, doesn’t write perfect answers to life, but rather songs about it´s rough edges and imperfections. Somewhere between melancholy and euphoria, dancing on the table and reflecting the next morning, he creates songs in which many people recognize themselves. His concerts are places where strangers sing and dance together and, for one evening, feel a little less like strangers. 

KARL is an artist with a Viennese accent and an international background – as well as a distinctive, raw voice that we’ll definitely be hearing more of in the coming months.
