Schedler Music Expands Its Management Team and A&R Department

A key step is the expansion of our executive team: With Fiona Sumpich-Schedler, another experienced professional from within our own ranks is taking on this responsibility. She has been part of our company since 2012 and brings extensive insights and many years of experience to the role. Together with Rudi Schedler, who will continue to play an active role in the executive team, she will shape the next phase of Schedler Music’s development. After completing her studies in “Management & Law” at MCI Innsbruck, Fiona Sumpich-Schedler began her career with us in the copyright department. In the years that followed, she held various positions and, among other things, played a key role in shaping our “Schedler Music Summits” and “Songwriting Camps” over several years. Since 2023, she has also been building out additional structures from our Vienna office and continuously driving the company’s development forward.

At the same time, we are specifically strengthening our A&R division: With Jan-Simon Wolff, we are welcoming an experienced A&R manager and music publisher to our Vienna office. He brings many years of industry experience and most recently served as Head of A&R at Budde Music. Throughout his career—including his work at Affen Publishing and Department Music—he has achieved numerous successes and awards, notably with artists such as Die Lochis, Heisskalt, and Psaiko.Dino. Prior to that, he served as an A&R manager at Universal Music Publishing, where he was responsible for signing artists such as Cro, Haftbefehl, and Motrip. He began his career after graduating from the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.

With these new hires, we are further expanding our expertise, particularly in the A&R area, and broadening our reach even further. Despite our various locations, we work closely together and deliberately focus on efficient, cross-location collaboration.
