Schedler Music office opening in Vienna
Schedler Music has recently opened a new office in Vienna, in the 2nd district (Lichtenauergasse 3). On the occasion of this, there was a small office opening party on Friday April 21 with invited guests from the Viennese music industry and scene including close contacts from AKM and AUME, record companies, singer-songwriters, producers, and many others. The entire Schedler Music team from Tyrol was also there, having traveled to Vienna the day before to attend the JOSH. at Gasometer.
The new Vienna office of Schedler Music will be managed by Fiona Sumpich-Schedler, who has also brought two new people on board to strengthen the team – an A&R/Creative Manager (who will start work at Schedler Music in May) and an Online Marketing Manager (who will start work at Schedler Music in July).
As one of the most successful independent music publishers in the German-speaking region, Schedler Music would like to establish a permanent foothold in the Austrian capital with this Vienna office and expand its creative activities locally.
„There are still so many singer-songwriter talents to be discovered in Austria, or artists and bands who have perhaps not yet heard so much from Schedler Music. With the Vienna team, we want to open up more in Vienna and offer our publishing expertise to a wider circle of interested parties.
Where else in Austria than in Vienna, should one open an office as a successful Austrian music publisher. In addition, I have already been living in Vienna for 2 years, which is why this step to open my own new Schedler Music office makes perfect sense and has been on my mind for quite some time. Now this plan has been put into action, which makes me insanely happy and is a very exciting time for me. “ – says Fiona Sumpich-Schedler.
