Matthias Ortner aka MATAKUSTIX: Exclusive publishing deal signed, new songs planned
MATAKUSTIX and Schedler Music started their partnership a while ago through collaborative songwriting sessions. Their creative partnership resulted in, among other things, the single „Bergauf„. This laid the foundation for a deeper musical partnership, which was solidified at a writing camp in Vienna. Here Matthias Ortner worked closely with musicians like Josh. and Daniel Volpe, which led to the creation of the current hit single „Zeltfest für 2„.
Matthias Ortner is not only an exceptional songwriter, but also a gifted musician and singer. The „MATAKUSTIX Show“ in July this year again left a profound impression in front of an enthusiastic audience of 4,000 fans. Matthias Ortner and his band MATAKUSTIX fuse traditional folk music with pop sounds. Beatboxing and live looping meet trumpet, accordion and unconventional instruments. Choirs are accompanied by rocking drum grooves. The „alternative folk musicians“ regularly welcome famous national guests such as Alle Achtung, Semino Rossi, Thomas Spitzer and the Poxrucker Sisters to their big live shows. In 2024, they will also once again bring in top-class surprise guests for an emotional concert experience.
Currently, they are already writing new songs with great commitment, so in addition to the live shows, you can also be excited about the upcoming music.
