Alexander Kahr exclusively at Schedler Music

Publishing director Rudi Schedler and Alexander Kahr have known each other for a very long time. Their first collaboration began twenty-four years ago, when Alex Kahr founded an edition at Koch Musikverlag, where Rudi Schedler was managing director at the time.

Alexander Kahr can look back on an impressive career in which he has had 72 top 40 hits and over 30 albums in the Austrian charts, as well as successes in Germany and Switzerland. His productions have been nominated 35 times for the Amadeus and several times for the Echo. A highlight of his career was undoubtedly his collaboration with Christina Stürmer, which produced hits such as „Ich lebe“, „Mama ana ahabak“, „Engel fliegen einsam“ and „Vorbei“ and led to an Echo nomination in 2006. The earlier Christina Stümer hits are also currently celebrating a comeback. In August 2023, the „Christina Stürmer – MTV Unplugged Concert“ was recorded at the Volkstheater in Vienna, where she performed her numerous hits in new acoustic arrangements. „Ich lebe (MTV Unplugged)“ was the first single release, which was released on 27.10.2023. The complete MTV Unplugged album will be released in March 2024. His recent work includes projects with artists such as Zweikanalton, Edmund, Alexander Eder, Wiener Wahnsinn, Lika Doss, Anna Catharina, Anto and Friedl.
