LUF are Niko Faust and Alex Werth, songwriters and producers with their creative center in Essen.

The two multi-instrumentalists became known with songs for and with Jan Böhmermann, such as „Menschen Leben Tanzen Welt“ (Top Ten, Grimme Prize, Prize for Pop Culture), „Ischgl Fieber“ and many more. This was followed by further chart successes with two Top Ten albums for Das Lumpenpack, as well as other successful collaborations, including Florian Künstler, Wilhelmine, Josh., Jupiter Jones, Joko & Klaas, Mia Julia, Carolin Kebekus, Oimara, d’Hundskrippln and Lisa Spielmann.
With a heart for pop music, courage for genre excursions, dedication and freshness, LUF writes songs that stay in the ear. Sometimes with guitar on paper, sometimes with 20-finger laptop acrobatics.
