Olaf Bossi is a cabaret artist and singer-songwriter and several years ago he also focused on writing for “German Schlager music”, e.g. the lyrics by Maite Kelly’s current single “Sieben Leben für dich” and four other songs from her current album are written by him.
The career of Bossi began at school, where he founded a band together with his school friend Felix Gauder, with whom he still works successfully today. This resulted in a successful cooperation in the nineties with their band DAS MODUL which had hits like – “Computerliebe” and “Kleine Maus”. Numerous other national and international chart hits (“The Free”, etc.) followed.
At some point Bossi began to write songs for himself and started to make his hobby, the humor, into a profession. Today he is also successful as a cabaret artist and songwriter on German-speaking stages and has already won several prestigious prizes.
For a couple of years, Bossi has also turned to the “German Schlager music” – His desire to write a song for Udo Jürgens sometime was not coming true, but a slogan of Udo Jürgens is always a good signpost to him: “Entertainment with attitude“.
Today Olaf Bossi regularly works with the big names of the German speaking industry (eg Maite Kelly, Beatrice Egli, Ella Endlich, Mirja Boes, Cloudfree, VoXXclub, Dorfrocker, Fantasy, Julian David, Julia Buchner and others). In 2016 he won the ECHO for the album “Wachgeküsst” by WOLKENFREI and was awarded several times with gold.
Bossi is an exclusive songwriter at Schedler Music for several months now.
Keep it up Olaf!
